Users could already send audio messages on WhatsApp. Now they can also send video messages in the same way. WhatsApp now lets users send up to 60 seconds of video messages recorded straight from the camera. In this article, I will tell you how to send video messages on WhatsApp.
Sending a voice message or voice note is easy. Open a WhatsApp conversation and tap the mic icon at the screen’s bottom right corner. The mic icon will change to a video icon. Now tap and hold the video icon to start recording the voice message. You can record a video message of up to 60 seconds.

Video messages received in the conversation will have a round thumbnail to look different in the chat. Tapping on it will start playing a video message.

There is no option to save the video message on the phone. But, anyone can use screen recording to save the video message. WhatsApp video messages are recorded directly from the camera. Users cannot send an old video in the video message. So, you know the video message was recorded recently and is not an old video. It is also not possible to forward video messages.
Like other WhatsApp messages, WhatsApp video messages are also end-to-end encrypted to ensure privacy.
