Instagram Video notes can only be up to two seconds. It also forces users to record a video directly from the camera. You cannot upload any existing video. These are a few things that make video notes different from video stories. Like other notes, video notes are also shared for up to 24 hours. After this time, notes will no longer be visible. You can always delete a note by tapping on it, and then tapping Delete note. Any of your friends can reply to your note. Their replies will be shown in the chat. No one can see who viewed or replied to your notes.

Create video notes on Instagram
Open the Instagram app on your phone and go to the DM section by swiping from right to left on the screen. Alternatively, you can also tap the DM icon at the top right corner. In the DM section, you will see your profile photo at the top of all conversations. Tap on your profile photo. Then you will again see your profile photo at the center of the screen with a camera icon. Tap that camera icon. Now record the video message by tapping the Blue record button. Once recorded, you get two options. You can either tap the trash can icon to delete it if you are not satisfied or tap the blue correct icon to upload the video note.
The good thing is that you can also create a custom audience by selecting contacts for that audience. Then share the note with the specific audience for privacy reasons.
