Sadly, you cannot delete your account right from the mobile app. You need to use the browser to delete the account.

Steps to delete Snapchat account permanently.

Open the Snapchat app. Now tap your profile icon at the top left corner and then click the gear icon at the top right corner to open Settings. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.

It will open the delete Snapchat account on the web. You can directly open this link: https://support.snapchat.com/delete-account from the web browser.

Here, login to your Snapchat account. and it will open Delete account page.

Check the box to confirm you are not a bot. Submit the form. Re-enter your password on the next page. Click on Delete My Account.

Just to make it clear here, deleting your account wipes out all underlying data. You will also not be able to create a new account with the same username.
