Google Images is the most popular place to search for images. You just need to enter the keyword and click the search button. For searching transparent images, people generally add PNG in the keyword. A few people put Transparent works with the keyword. It offers several results but not all images come with a transparent background. The reason why this doesn’t work is the availability of fake transparent images on Google.
Check the snapshot to understand what I am talking about. I searched for Adobe Logo and here’s a PNG result that looks like a transparent image.
When I opened this image in a new tab, here is what I found. A Fake PNG image.
So how do you avoid fake PNG results and find truly transparent images?
You can use Google Search tools to filter the results. First of all search for images using any keyword. Once you get search results, Click on Tools and then Click on the Color dropdown. Here select Transparent. It will add a filter to show just transparent images in the search.
Now you will see images with transparent backgrounds only.
It is worth noting that images shown in Google Images are not available to use for free. Some images may be subjected to copyright. If you use these images on your blog, you may get a copyright notice from the owner. For finding images, you should always use Royalty free images.
If you want to download free images with transparent backgrounds, there are a few good websites. IMGBIN, StickPNG, and CleanPNG are three good websites I recommend where you will find high-quality PNG images with transparent backgrounds. You can also remove the background of the image to make it transparent. I have already talked about a few good ways to remove background from images. You should use the search function of this website to find more articles about transparent images and tools to remove the background from images.
