I have seen a lot of people who now use dark mode everywhere it is possible. Just like in other social media apps, Snapchat also lets users enable dark mode if they want.
Dark Mode basically enables a dark scheme with white text. So, you can comfortably use Snapchat at night without feeling any kind of strain on your eyes. Enable Dark Mode On Snapchat on iOS
It is really easy to enable dark mode on Snapchat on iOS.
Open the Snapchat app and click on your “Bitmoji” at the top left corner. Then tap on the gear icon located at the top right corner of the screen. Now scroll down until you find App Appearance.

Here, choose Always Dark.
This will enable the Dark Mode on the Snapchat app.
Enable Dark Mode On Snapchat on Android
On Android phones, Snapchat doesn’t offer an option to enable dark mode. Still, you can get the dark mode by forcing the dark mode of Android on all the apps. For this, you need to first enable the dark mode of Android.
Note: Different phones use different UI such as OxygenOS, FuntouchOS, MIUI, ColorOS, and more. So, the steps may differ.
To enable Android’s dark mode, open the Settings app, go to Display, and then tap Dark mode. Here, turn on the toggle to enable dark mode.
Snapchat doesn’t support dark mode on Android. So, enabling Android’s dark mode will not enable the dark mode on Snapchat. Now you will have to force Android’s dark mode on other apps. For this, open Settings and then go to Developer Options. Here scroll down to find Force Dark mode and enable it.
This will force the dark mode of Android on all the apps including Snapchat.
